I came to Rochester five years ago when I started school.  From day 1 I knew that I didn't like the place.  Not sure what it was exactly that made me not like Rochester.  Maybe it just wasn't Minneapolis.  I considered switching schools at first, but by the end my first week I knew I had found my place.  It was the people here that I came to love.  My circle of friends, dysfunctional though they were at times, proved to be my greatest treasure.  But the circle of friends you keep in college doesn't last forever.  People drop out, people graduate, people fade away.  Ian, Alex, Ben, Lou, Ted, Joe, Tom, Harlan, Ryan, John, James, Colton, Andrew,

Happy day before Bastille Day!  Bastille Eve?  Dunno.  Either way, I'm definitely getting some baguettes tomorrow. Right, so I've graduated from college now, though I'm now living only a mile or two away from campus.  Also, my new apartment has the exact same floor layout as my old on-campus one.  Practically everyone else is still living around here, too.  Our lives have become a bad sitcom, so bad that they didn't even bother to build a new living room set for the new season. I graduate from college in a little less than 8 weeks.  Don't quite have a job lined up yet, but I've got some prospects.  Still really hoping to end up back in Minneapolis, but at the moment, it doesn't look like I will. Anime Boston is next weekend.  I'm definitely going to be there, showing off the last 6 months worth of costume work.  Also reusing Shimon, because I haven't worn that enough for all the work I put into it. Other than that, it's just a lazy Sunday morning.  I've got to get off my ass and work done later, but for now, I'm just going to sit back, maybe watch some anime, and enjoy the morning.
